Indian Education

Ganawendan mashkawendamoin abinoojii  "Take Care of a Child's Strong Mind"

The Indian Education Program is a federally funded program that serves American Indian students in a variety of ways. Elementary students who are in academic need and are not eligible for other students services can receive assistance in the subject areas of reading, math and oral or written communications. The Secondary Program focuses on students in grades 7 -12 and is designed to assist students with educational opportunities beyond high school. The Indian Education Program serves American Indian students by developing their understanding and appreciation of their American Indian history and culture.
